Sister Brands
We have done a wide variety of things here at Westar. Beyond our typical job shop list, we've created a few other trades names working under the mother business Westar. Some of them are created out of simple curiosity and because we thought it would be cool. Take Roman-X for example. A modern day take on horse drawn chariot racing. Get rid of the horses, add in 60 HP engines. Who doesn't want to see death defying chariots racing side by side?
Others products are born out of industry necessity, like our patented easy maintenance cow preparation system, the Udder Gun.
You may have already seen our ROVS, remote operated vehicle system. It is a retrofit remote control system for HMMWV's, essentially turning any Humvee into a large RC car. They were designed and created to be deployed overseas in conjunction with the US military. The purpose was to lead the pack into hostile environments, taking the brunt of I.E.D's, suicide-bombers, snipers, with the goal of saving American lives.
On the remote controlled side of things we also have Team Whyachi, our competitive combat robot team with the giant nut winning Son Of Whyachi, and recent fan favorites Hydra and Fusion. Team Whyachi makes a bunch of parts for other robot combat competitors and also for other industries like entertainment with products like the stage-bot, a robot designed to move props, people, and things around sets and stages for filming or live events.
We have also made many parts and props for TV and movies, from vampire guns to torture devices for the "Saw" movie series to Thor's hammer.
Our newest sister is EBROS Construction which specializes in smaller excavating jobs, landscaping and terraforming, concrete, and even new building construction and renovations.
